Class of Feb. 2009

The Foundation for Exxcellence in Women's Health Care is pleased to offer Exxcellence in Clinical Research. This is the same highly renowned course in research methods and evidence-based medicine taught since 1987 by the expert and engaging team of Drs. David Grimes and Kenneth Schulz. The name has been changed from Faculty Development to Clinical Research to more appropriately represent the focus of the course.

The six-day curriculum provides an intensive introduction to epidemiology, research methods, and data analysis. The content of the program has been developed following the ACCME accreditation guidelines, and is available exclusively for obstetricians/gynecologists enrolled in ABOG approved Fellowships. With the approval of The American Board of Ob/Gyn, The Exxcellence in Clinical Research course will fulfill the Fellowship requirement for a university graduate-level course in quantitative techniques.
